I have not used that method myself by the way but I will support you with it as much as possible
The main thing is that you have an original game with a large TOC i.e. a game that has more or equal data to the game you are playing (I could be incorrect about the TOC thing but in general when using a disc swop/swap method this is the case)
You will also need a PSX/PSone memcard to save your game (this method does not use an emulator but uses the PS2's backward compatability)
As I said I use other systems to play my PSone games on my TV
