I never had any experience with trolls, because I had the perfect counter-measure: I never conversed with anyone on the internet.
You see, I've gotten my broadband recently (about 3 years) and before that I had dial-up for a long time. The thing with dial up was that instead of charging you for bandwidth, they would charge you for the time you used the internet. This meant activities that would take time and not much download (Such as chatting, posting on forums, etc.) was a no-no for me. Instead I used my dial up to download game demos (because I wasn't l337 hax0r enough back then to pirate) getting some pr0nz, and occasionally if I found an interesting article, I would download it to my hard disk and read it later when my internet had run out.
Anyways, by the time I had gotten my broadband and started properly conversing with people on the internet, I had a pretty good understanding of the art of trolling and how to counter it. (kinda) therefore I am pretty sure that I haven't been trolled that much...
