I never had any experience with trolls, because I had the perfect counter-measure: I never conversed with anyone on the internet. You see, I've gotten my broadband recently (about 3 years) and before that I had dial-up for a long time. The thing with dial up was that instead of charging you for bandwidth, they would charge you for the time you used the internet. This meant activities that would take time and not much download (Such as chatting, posting on forums, etc.) was a no-no for me. Instead I used my dial up to download game demos (because I wasn't l337 hax0r enough back then to pirate) getting some pr0nz, and occasionally if I found an interesting article, I would download it to my hard disk and read it later when my internet had run out.

Anyways, by the time I had gotten my broadband and started properly conversing with people on the internet, I had a pretty good understanding of the art of trolling and how to counter it. (kinda) therefore I am pretty sure that I haven't been trolled that much...

as for language butchering, i get enough of that in-game chat on many games (so many flipping abreviations >.<) and in chatrooms on some websites but i think its more when little kids sneak in for the latter, darn kids (they like to bypass the sites, the flash game site kongregate in this case, minimum age requirement of 13+ sometimes) and they're failure to comprehend proper speech/spelling

I live in middle east. The cards I bought all had a big "56K" sign on them, but they all offered 2KB download max.

Has anyone mentioned cheesy yet? What a troll he was. I was only ever really proud of one trolling, some new member was mean to me in mail and all my answers were highly polite.

I don't care to troll here, mainly because from what I can gather from all the butchering of the English language, no one would actually be able to know when I'm actually trolling them.

With all the hurt feelings reports being filled out I'm sure it would go great.

I think the funniest thing I've seen on this site was when Constipated Rat got pushed off the deep end. I haven't been here long though obviously. I'd give that a 5/10 or so. Average.

Think it twice. We love to ban trolls here.

I doubt it. Back in the day I used to get PMs and visitor messages on my profile from people saying how cool it is that there are gamer girls like me who are also really hot.

Everyone already knows my favorite Chen troll story. I wish Synthetik were around to tell it for us, because I haven't the energy.

Nothing is more satisfying than being present when someone is trolled so hard that they quit a forum and wander out into moving traffic.

I've heard the story a couple of times but still wish I was around at the time to see it.

I don't really have any specific stories though. Early days of EP was frequently one giant flame war though As I remember it but then I was always drunk so who knows if I remember correctly.

Anyways, I arrived on ScrewAttack at a rather bad time and ended up in a war between a bunch of Chaotic Neutral Deadpan Snarkers and a Stupid Neutral Goldfish Poop Gang and ended up being the Only Sane Man when the mods had to get involved and take two members and have them Killed Off For Real. Basically, one side were angry at the other for creating a huge circlejerk of the local community and generally hitting their Berserk Button, so they fought back with Insane Troll Logic, myself caught in the middle. Eventually, everyone got over it and we all realized that we're Not So Different.

Oh, and it eventually got so bad in the ban madness with five members banned (three Never Found The Body) that my Unknown Rival called out the mod staff as Dirty Cops and the admin staff as Evil Chancellors.

So, troll stories? Maybe that time with Cheezy/Trips and crimsonedge, but not much else. Maybe some extremely bad attempts by various others.
