would not usually come to this hangout because different people talk about different things and may

Before the roll back I was close to 1000 posts in the counting thread. You do make a valid point though. There are too many members around with well, online social circles for everyone to be able to converse in 1 hangout. I imagine it would make it difficult to follow posts. I was gonna say maybe if you guys had a normal hangout rather than a counting one, but who am I to say you shouldn't be allowed to count while you talk.

I just don't see closing a handful of H.O. threads to promote posting in the actual hangout but keeping the retro hangout open where regular members can't post, close retro hangout problem solved.

We used to all post in the regular hangout threads.

People frequently were just too intimidated to post or frequently tried to stupidly derail a discussion by behaving like children. And then frequently there were miniature turf wars between established members and new ones. It's been months since I had to chew anyone out for being a dumbass and it's been a while since anyone pointed out that I'm full of myself and how I'm a power mad jackass. I think that alone warrants separate hangouts.

Besides, we have considerably more personal discussions in the RHO from time to time that really wouldn't go over too well in this one. I sincerely doubt you guys are interested in my complicated romantic life, my difficult professional life, my absurdly confusing familial situations, or being kept up to date on stuff that's fucking depressing as shit. Due to the different atmosphere of the RHO, it's not uncommon for people to post things that the general populous shouldn't really be aware of.

Yeah, you are right, I mean, I once had a talk in this hangout, with 4 people, and there were other people posting too,
and after I posted my post was like 10 or 12 below other posts... and it was really hard to follow... and I cannot imagine
when this gets really crowded...
