Their idea makes no since to me,but I guess I won't try to provoke the situation while discussions are taking place amongst staff.

I just don't see closing a handful of H.O. threads to promote posting in the actual hangout but keeping the retro hangout open where regular members can't post, close retro hangout problem solved.

that being said it's not a stab at retros or anything just trying to point out they could of done better than just closing two threads for example there is always shards idea of merging most of general gaming it has been dying far longer than any hangout we have ever had.

Its nice to go somewhere where certain fools cant go. Not that I use the retro hangout that much/ever. I think the fighters hangout should have been left alone, but that counting one was just stupid. But like you said, that's the staffs bag, we may just wait and see.

Well staff traffic is not the only traffic they want on the H.O. Thread. Plus the plan is kind of is in it's experimental stage.
We will see if this is a flop on their part or a great Idea.
The plan is to keep the original H.O. useful, member friendly instead of buried like it's been lately , but that's like reliving the Chat Box fiasco I heard about.
