It's not like Megaman has a stellar plot or anything, so I don't care that much really. It's more the principle of the matter, where the man was left out of the loop and his work was sort of broken as a result of that.

I understand that.
Principles should always be put in first place in a company, putting profits in first place is likely to cause disasters.
There are more video game companies that made that mistake at least once, but I actually can't remember right now.

Once a friend borrowed me a DVD that some guy left in a disc sleeve along with a PSX again, and never came back for it. Brought it home, played it in my PC, and there was this scene that I liked a lot. Tried to copy it to my PC but the disc was scratched to the hell and back and I couldn't recover it, gave the disc to my friend and that was the end of it.

Tried looking for that scene for quite a bit to no avail, until one day I reinstalled Ares, and decided to look for it for the hell of it, and voilá, there it was, it took a long ass time to download a 180MB .mpg file, but it completed. Mind you, that was until about a year ago, I got that disc back in 2004-2005.

I haven't played it yet myself, and I haven't read too many reviews, but I certainly don't have high expectations for it. My anticipation after playing the demo has mostly subsided, and I won't be surprised in the slightest if the entire sequel simply feels like a rather long, somewhat meh, sidequest to the original.

I found Dragon Age II to seem pretty interesting. I don't really see whats so wrong about it
