Well, most of the Maverick stages were actually Human\Reploid colonies\industrial sites originally. At worst too, the Capsules are just sealed off in these areas by some destructible blocks, and at best they're just hidden in some odd nook.

There an armor upgrade in something that looks like a machine room.
To get there, you must wall jump between two walls.
Those walls have spikes.
And if you haphazardly touch it, you die, unless you have a Prickle barrier.
Very weird place to put an armor upgrade.

Unless he is trying to kill Megaman.

I wasn't aware of that.
I actually prefer Megaman X series than MMZ series.
Maybe it's due to Zero's design.
I didn't like the MMZ design.

Yeah. X5 was the intended ending to MMX, with MMZ the intended continuation of the plot. The redesign of Zero in MMZ was done for a lot of reasons, namely it's not suppose to be the same body - and also they wanted to give him a more "human" appearance. X6 was created completely without Inafune's knowledge, and he was none too happy at all about it being released.. Furthermore, it kind of broke the intended continuity too.. Supposedly they've since fixed the mucked up continuity with the X titles since then, but it's still not along the lines of the intended original plot.

Well, the plot could have been fixed if they were creative enough.
It's all about creativity.

Same thing with Phoenix Wright in MvC3.
