Yeah, there are a couple of similar sizes. But I got through 0180 in not too long by just chipping away at it every now and then. Think I can probably handle the rest. Just got to take it a day at a time and not feel bad about dropping a file halfway to go to bed.

I will finish this damn thing, though. Our awesome awesome translation group must be made a reality.

Also because I want to prove that I can. And a little bit because translating an entire visual novel on my own when I'm only in the second year of my course would look pretty sweet on my CV, and would probably be a decent thing to boast for scholarship applications.
The breaks seem to be pretty arbitrary. A lot of the files are really tiny, and then you have some huge ones that condense a massive amount of scenes into one file, 0180 being a prime example. Could be based on the day on the in-game timer, I guess? Pretty sure all the scenes in that one were from the first real day of the game. To be honest, it doesn't really bother me either way. If anything, it's better. I can whip through all the tiny files and then I'll feel good about only having a few left to go, even if it's just a placebo effect because they're all borderline novels in their own right.
Nah, you've done a lot already on your side of things. I need to pick up the pace.

And let's face it, I don't play games very quickly, nevermind visual novels. You'd be waiting a long time.

If I really need context for anything, I can always dig up the anime or watch a Japanese LP on NicoNico.

I'll probably mail you whatever I've done in the way of complete files on a weekly basis or something, and you can do what you will with it. There's no rush, though.

Translating is mutually compatible with my day to day life, being that it's actually good study. You're working on your free time.
Oh, early days yet, but anything in the way of image translation to do? It's been a while since I watched the opening sequence, but I think it had some quotes from the characters? And there's a little spiel right at the start that I'm pretty sure is stored as images rather than text (or if it's text I haven't come across it yet). We could try to recruit Danny for image editing?
