I was kind of hopeful for this game until the second period started, and three minutes in the Canucks scored three goals.

You're way smarter than me. You just don't flaunt it with unnecessarily wordy posts. Well...sometimes you do. But yours actually have substance. You also have more in the way of common sense in your little finger than I have in my whole body. I'm one step away from putting toothpaste on my hairbrush.
It's sort of based in reality. Mostly the part where the young girl dies a horrible death and that scene where the vampire hunters show up to kill everyone. That would totally play out like that in real life. What, you mean it doesn't end with everyone dying? Must have been the brain damage I gave myself while attempting to view it.

Many fan translators aren't really fluent in Japanese, or aren't really fluent in English. Chen isn't really fluent in either. I'm sure this will end well.

Tempted to break my microphone right now so I won't be tempted to participate if and when that terrible day ever comes. Yes, I know it's built into my laptop. That's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
I wonder if he'll make us break our support discs to get the patch....

Someone translate one of those female dating sims. Ed can voice the awkward dude. Even the sex scenes.

Wow, seriously? It's bad enough for a translator to develop a god complex after a couple of years of studying Japanese (have come across a few!), but a script insertor? Jeez... Feeling a little better about myself now. And you don't know how flaky I can be. Yet. Bring this conversation up in a couple of weeks and I'll probably go, "Oh yeah...that... But you know what I'm really into right now? New RPG XYZ."

Kidding. Well...not about being flaky as hell. But I will give this my all.
We all laughed about it eventually. It was fun times. We also considered burning down his neighborhood in a manner that would mirror the protagonists' origin story.

If all else fails, we can claim that a natural disaster stuck, you were picked up on charges of pedophilia, or one or both of us have recently had children and now must tend to them and therefore we have less time. Worked wonders for GP.

"Wait guys, I'm going to try something. Any better now?"
    *tumbleweed rolls by*
And then one member says "fuck this, i'm going to bed" And it devolves into a giant EP chat session.

Those russians just wanted it more.

By which I mean it's a comeback that's going to be talked about over there for years to come.

I'm so glad I was at work when that was being played. I would have probably slit my wrists.

Go for the trifecta. "Honestly. After the earthquake left us both trapped in an elevator car together, we just sorta clicked. Then she had a kid nine months later, and the police came by asking why a 12-year old was having a kid, and long story short, I'm going to be too busy to work on the project for a while." Sympathy from the Internets, guaranteed. Well, you'll definitely get something from the Internets, at least...

I will take this under consideration.

By which I mean I'm totally stealing this.

I heard that the score was 3-0 going into the last period, and I figured "well shit, we've got this in the bag." Apparently I was wrong.

Seemingly it was a combination of poor coaching, overly tired players, and awful teamwork. The overconfidence of the players followed closely by the "oh shit" reaction probably didn't help.

Russia is not a nation you take lightly on the ice. Ever. But I guess the russians having that extended losing streak for the last several years made people forget that they're a country that really doesn't take the sport lightly. And that's how a downfall begins...

Russians don't take anything lightly. Although I did love all of the FB statuses along the lines of, "In Mother Russia, hockey own you!"

I hear they take murdering americans pretty lightly.

If russians are patriotic, and they call it mother russia, does that mean they are into milfs? I need to stop thinking of these things.
