Speaking of PSG, I only watched about the first half of it. Does it get better or is it really just a big compilation of sex jokes? It's not terrible, but hardly a masterpiece.

No worries. I was just pointing out that there's no obligation to see things through to the end. And I know a bit about the whole process and I figure it's worthwhile to attempt doing something with said knowledge.

Plus not only do I get to look at a lot of japanese and lines upon lines of code, but I get to look at code IN JAPANESE.

I think I just attained Nerdvana.
I prescribe a steady diet of shoujo manga and peaceful piano music. Cute kitten photos optional, but recommended.

No obligation save for the fact that I already dropped a translation blog earlier this year and will hate myself so damn much if I drop another project by the wayside. Though admittedly I mostly gave up on my translation blog because I got lots of strangers commenting on my posts with random requests. It was flattering at first, but eventually it got sort of creepy. I don't know you. Why would I want to translate some Japanese song that I don't even like for you? Protip: if you ever learn Japanese, don't advertise that fact to the web, even if it's on a blog that you don't promote and figure no one reads. People will find it.

As long as you don't mind, I guess. And I'm translating game Japanese via a Dvorak keyboard layout. Call it even?

Just stand in the middle of the "mall" where all the museums and such are and look for the huge groups of Asian tourists.

And if you ever miss the UK, you can rant with my boyfriend about how Americans are stupid and such.
This idea is so cute that I don't quite know how to reply. As shy as I am, we'll definitely need to meet up if I ever end up working in the US!

Though I really think you wouldn't like me in real life. ;__; I don't really like me in real life. What few endearing traits I have don't tend to show up in actual conversation.

I'm not that interested in government work anyway. I want to try and get into something more creative. Translating novels, movies, videogames, manga... Anything like that. I'm not too fussed.

And I'd never say something so offensive to yourself, Tanthias, Ivolt and numerous other dear friends. <3

If nothing else, it simply wouldn't be true. You're all way smarter than me.

Pretend that every American ever is a clone of Akuma and the hate will flow.

    My God, will it flow.

Mental retardation is not something you should hate.

Just tape it and post on the internet.

Or let it rant about magnets and rectums.

    Whichever.

Ah, but having met you on the internet, where you seem to be much more comfy (like more than a handful of the rest of us, I'm sure), I already know about all your endearing traits. I won't have to notice them in conversation, I'll love you to death anyway.

I'm sure you can find something lovely to do! And something that probably pays a little more than the random pack of Asian tourists.

It's okay, I agree with him half of the time. The other half of the time I'm wishing I could move to the UK, because he's said something like, "If you do that where I grew up, you'd get slapped in the head."

SO YEAH, EFFEMINATE GUYS ARE BASICALLY PAEDOPHILES.

I'm about as soft-hearted as people come, but some people just need to...fall down a bottomless pit?

    No, that's too cruel. ;__;

    Fall into an eternal sleep?

That should be reserved for fairytale princesses.

Have their hands scratched to pieces by a vicious team of trained attack kitties, after which they learn the value of compassion for their fellow man and go on to live lives filled with ?

    Perfect.

I never read the whole thing, though. Would've been good for a chuckle or two.

Hmm. I do have a file here labeled "delicious bullshit drama comedy gold.txt" that I copy/pasted from another forum. Will have to grab a blanket and hot cocoa one evening and skim through it.
