I only have the version of the OST that came with the US Persona 3.
I can zip and put it on MU, if you want.
Yeah, I still don't get how to beat him, of course, I send him the attacks and stuff but the Death Drain is what takes me out. >__>

Don't worry, crusher just posted a link, thanks though.

Anyway, yeah, I liked the Breath of Fire games, but always felt that they were pretty unmemorable. I'd play them, enjoy them, and promptly forget them. They were like...average upper-tier RPGs. V was so unique, and had so much that set it above the rest of the series for me. The setting was awesome, the gameplay was awesome, the dragon form was awesome... Heck I even enjoyed the minimalist story, and I'm usually a hands-on story kind of person. Everything about it just worked for me. It wasn't a game for everyone, but I think that was very much the intention.
I've seen a bunch of things that fleshed out the story for me, and to fully understand it and not miss everything, you have to play through it 3 times anyway.

Frankly, it's not that it changed from the previous games, it's just that I didn't like the game itself.

    And you take it.

Well, if they didn't have that candy in the first place, I wouldn't have to steal it, now would I?

The genes were pretty cool, admittedly. And Weretiger Rei...
Rogue Galaxy is well.... it's Level 5. The game is fun, can't deny that at all. But I dunno what to compare it to. It's pretty different from Dark Chronicle. Kinda more like traditional JRPGs but with an action based battle system. The voice acting is horrible though. My poor ears can't take anymore words from the Irish-speaking alien!

I still need to go through it again. I did it twice, but my D/Ratio was pretty bad the first time I finished it. I did much better the second time around, but I'm waiting before replaying it again. But yeah, it was a neat system to encourage replays. I'd like to see it implemented in another game sometime. Maybe not quite on the same level as Dragon Quarter, where it ended up turning off a bunch of people, but being able to unlock extra scenes on your second time through is a pretty neat bonus.

I love social matchmaking. I had not been playing so well earlier in the day in the ranked stuff and decided to go and just play for fun. Turns out everyone is hardcore terrible that plays it. Most games I was like a god among men and I was just messing around having a good time. The first one I played I went +25 and got a perfection.

Oh, no, sorry, I wasn't implying that the only reason anyone could possibly dislike it is because it's different. Just that a lot of the Breath of Fire fans who shot it down seemed to do so simply because it wasn't the same as the previous games. I don't mind people playing a game and not liking it because they don't think it's good, but playing it and not liking it because it's not exactly what you expected just seems a little silly to me.

But yes, I can see why you might not have liked it. It's kind of...blah, I don't know. I'm not even sure I liked it at first. It just really grew on me.

In other words, the game had so little to offer that they decided to make you play it a few times to unravel the 'whole thing', a few scenes more at a time. I would have enjoyed the idea, though, if the second playthrough had been done with another character. Now, THAT would have been nice.
