Later Elin, crusher!
lol who watches anime nowadays............
Edit: can't really say that as I have a convention to go to in 3 months time
Heh, everyone has a language group they're passionate about, I suppose. My primary expertise definitely resides with English, Dutch being my mother tongue.
That always annoys me about watching fansubs. Sometimes there are translations where I barely have any idea what they mean, and it turns out another guy translated it more loosely and I suddenly went 'it all makes sense now!'
Got a free oversized advertisement box for ZoE HD Collection. <3
SLOWLY!
Okay, the new Borderlands 2 DLC looks awesome. :lol
...Ask Dr. Robotnik is on 115 pages. How on earth is that thing still going?
I'm grateful, of course, but how? :P
keikaku wa hatarakimasen.
DID I DO THAT RIGHT OTHER THAN BEING ROMANJI?
People tend to be curious. :P
Few can resist the urge to ask someone like Dr. Robotnik questions http://r23.imgfast.net/users/2317/43...1235519876.png
If you mean "the plan doesn't work/isn't working" or something along those lines... then no, I never really heard it expressed like that. Hataraku is work in the sense of doing labor / working at your job.
If it was me I'd say 計画は失敗した (keikaku wa shippaishita - the plan failed), or 計画は成功しなかった (seikoushinakatta - didn't succeed), or 計画は効かない (keikaku wa kikanai - the plan isn't being effective/shows no effect/isn't working out), or a new expression I learned recently, 計画は効を奏しない (kou wo soushinai - the plan didn't bear fruit, sounds like a fancy expression to me and I haven't really heard it before  )
Although I'd take 効かない with a grain of salt. It's often used for military tactics (作戦は効かない), but for keikaku... eh, I dunno.
See I even included romaji just for you. It's a bloody pain in the ass but you can't say I'm not being considerate.
:wav:
So......Touhou.
Nemmmmmmmmmerrrrrrrrrrrrr
Gypnii-san.
Playing through Uncharteds again. Got the first one today on junk credit. :)
Hello all
So I have to give a demonstrative speech for my public speaking class which has to take 6 minutes. I would demonstrate how to take something to a vote and see if the majority of my class mates glasses in life half full or half empty I was going to come in with a glass of water and act like its my drinking water take a couple gulps and then get into my speech. Teacher like it what do you all think?
Having your eyes get used to kana is important in the long run. But at this point I'm not sure if you're actually serious about learning the language or if you're just lightly dabbling in it for the lulz.
Also if you want to type in Japanese the same way you type in English, you have to use Microsoft IME.
Sigh. How was everyone's weekend?
Yep, get with the times.
I cycled 20 miles, that was the most interesting part of my weekend I guess.
Um.it's Tuesday here. I was referring to Memorial day weekend.and oh,fuck it. Never mind. 20 miles? Was the scenery nice?
Yeah, it was alright, the trip there was dull though.
Yeah, most of them are.
Sorry.
Ok.Sorry that I'm American and somehow kept your shows from you.
American TV shows are overrated, stopped watching garbage TV ages ago
I don't watch a lot of tv these days either.
Games and Anime Merry, Games and Anime
