Grinds aren't hard to make, just gotta make sure your fat content is within range. Again, mostly for resale purposes, but deer meat is quite lean, so I would toss in some 80-20 pork trim as well, just to add a bit of flavour.

Beyond that, same general concept, just a different animal.

I don't like traveling on the Greyhound when I have my knives because I get worried that someone is going to pull me aside and give me a talking to.
I had to take my knives out to Kamloops with me a couple of months ago and got a little bit sketched out.

Grinds = ground product. Burger, if you will.
80-20 pork trim = 80% fat, 20% meat. Fat is where you get the flavour in your meat products.

And if you don't think I mean that statement, I seriously did want to temp ban Ray a few months back for a comment that he made. :P If only I had been an administrator, and not a lowly super mod, I could have done it. And probably had all of my powers stripped, but it would have been worth it.
