    Ouch. Could have been worse though.

    I don't like traveling on the Greyhound when I have my knives because I get worried that someone is going to pull me aside and give me a talking to.
    I had to take my knives out to Kamloops with me a couple of months ago and got a little bit sketched out.

    Grinds aren't hard to make, just gotta make sure your fat content is within range. Again, mostly for resale purposes, but deer meat is quite lean, so I would toss in some 80-20 pork trim as well, just to add a bit of flavour.

    Beyond that, same general concept, just a different animal.
    Thats all we did. But even in stores here its called cube steak.

    Hmm. According to my massive manual it shouldn't be, and I didn't think they differentiated by region. Oh well.

    Nomenclature = product labeling.
    Grinds = ground product. Burger, if you will.
    80-20 pork trim = 80% fat, 20% meat. Fat is where you get the flavour in your meat products.

    Well, I'm curious now, and am going to do some more digging. Because there is nothing else to do at the moment, and I like to have reading material sometimes when I'm out having a smoke.

    It`s even worse since I`m terrible at reading those kinds of things. Oh well. I`ll learn eventually.
