    once you have all the screws out, it shouldnt be very hard at ALL to take the screen cover off.

    And as the child of a sparkie, i cant see no real reason why splicing wires shouldnt work.

    I used to work as a sparkie on Caravans, had to splice all the time, never had one bad one, aslong as CMM has researched everything and splices correctly, it'll be fine.
