Thread: Good upload services.

    Default Good upload services.

Does anyone know of any good upload services? I'm planning on uploading some games, the first one being Guilt Gear X for the Dreamcast, for lizard. But I don't wanna use Rapidshare, since you have to wait I think 45 minutes between downloads? Something like that. Anyway, I saw this thread, http://www.epforums.org/list-upload-...512/index.html but none of them really say if those services are good or bad. I'm just basically looking for a service that'll let me upload files of at least 50MB, last about a month, and have quick upload and download speeds. And more importantly, don't make you wait a long time between downloads. Or no time at all if possible.

    www.megaupload.com
    it's my favourite server.
    500MB files max.
I think the max amount of downloads is 100 and you get 7 days of inactivity.

But whatever I prefer it. Rapidshare's only good for speeds, that's it.

Soo, I take it you two recommend me MegaUpload? How're the download speeds?

Edit: Wow, the upload speed is nice.

I get 300kb/s there on downloads. That's my max download speed, so I like it.

Sweet. All right, I'd usually ask that this be locked, since I've chosen to go with MegaUploads, but I'll ask to leave it open just in case someone has other good recommendations.

How're the download and upload speeds for you? Download limits? Why would I wanna choose any of those instead of MegaUploads?

No download limits. I live in Norway, but I always max out my connection on those. 70kb\s up, 350 kb\s down.

Damn. Sounds just like MU. I'm sticking with MU for now, but thank you for those two suggestions. I'll use'em in the future for the sake of mixing it up.

I think Megaupload's limit is like 2 files per every 40-50 minutes, something like that. There are easy ways to bypass it anyway.

Are you serious? Why wasn't I told this? I already uploaded 2 parts of a game there!

So? It doesn't matter, aslong as the parts are like 200-500MB's they won't care.

The games I upload for the members here, I don't want them to be waiting so long between downloads. And I don't usually split the files in such large chunks. I usually do 50MB chunks. Which is why I specifically asked for upload services that don't give download limits.
