Holy shit! I just bought something one eBay, it was a deal, because its name was misspelled?! It's been 20 years since I've gotten something like that on eBay, I'm utterly shocked. There are no deals on eBay anymore, for at least a decade now, let alone a misspelling deal. Wow.

recently I've managed to get a few good deals like earlier this week I came across an item I was hoping to find in my price range so I put it on my watchlist over the weekend and was still able to grab it.
it's really getting harder to find things on there that aren't being scalped to high hell anymore. yeah it has been going downhill for a while but the last 2-3 years it's really gotten bad like amazon bad. the biggest thing I've noticed outside of scalpers is the place is lousy with chinese sellers all the selling the same cheaply made and over priced crap just like amazon. lately(as in the last 2-3 years now) the price difference between ebay and amazon is negligible, usually I could find lower prices on items most times in the range of a few dollars but now I'm lucky to see differences in the cents range like 1 or 2 pennies worth.
both these places really need new and good competition. I miss the days when we had a dozen or more online store to choose from where most places had to earn your business whether that be with competitive prices,sales.quality or low priced and fast shipping.
as it stands now both ebay and amazon have gotten too comfortable with themselves and don't have to earn their business, I'd go as far as saying they're both monopolies but in this country monopolies are just a myth they don't exist according to the government

As a Canadian, the Chinese junk is what I hit eBay for. Say I want a molex adapter or something like that. Amazon usually won't have anything for less than $10-15, but eBay will have something shipping from China for $0.99 with free shipping. When a lettermail stamp costs more than that here.

you're likely getting better prices from chinese seller than we are. they rarely sell cheap unless it's shipping from china and that can takes weeks to months.

My next D&D campaign has mini giant space hamster blowguns, reflex save or be blinded going for the eyes. Its to-hit is determined by constitution ability score for bonus and each +1 is 5' further with a base 10' range, depends on your lung health and how hard you can blow. Creatures or beings without eyes are immune.

Threw together a PII 500/100 on GA-6BXC (Slot 1 with decent oc capabilities) with 768mb PC-133 (max) and Diamond Monster Fusion (3dfx AGP)... no sound card or lan yet.

Cleaned, rebuilt and upgraded these mac's:
PowerMac (3,5) G4 Quicksilver 1GHz DP
eMac G4 ATI 1GHz
Macbook Pro 6,2 (i5 with dual graphics) - unibody has some dents
Macbook Pro 8,1 (i5 with Thunderbolt) - screen glass cracked but the actual display panel is totally ok.


The MBP 8,1 will probably be a candidate for an eGPU setup.
I just need a thunderbolt 2 cable now, already have genuine thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter and Blackmagic Design eGPU (Radeon RX580).

Rarely see it unless you're on ebay.au like most of every single day, but yeah some people just throw stuff on there (high volume "junk" sellers, not resellers).
Misspelling or misidentification still happens, females selling used tech can sometimes land you a great deal... just fire off an offer as soon as it's listed

Resident Evil of Kharlindale Realms, because he's the Grim Reaper that does 100+ damage with Wicked Union scythe + sneak attack damage if Wicked Union stuns(as level 5 weapon master critical damage doubles so 200+ next level, takes rouge class for use magic device skill at 15 and Skill Focus(Use Magic Device) to offset the Charisma penalty to emulate other classes and to use Skin of the Manticore), plus 8 Skin of the Manticore cloaks for free magic missile spike attacks at range, and shield of spell resistance with venomous short sword for evil sword and board and a belt of spell resistance, a rogue helm that makes him immune to poison and knockdown to defeat opposing assassin and black guard prestige class toons as a weapon master prestige class toon that one-hit homeruns with critical hit power attacks as scythe master. He's more assault mech killing machine than anything else D&D-wise, only downside is he levels up slowly because half-orcs are typically stupid barbarians and he's as smart as a wizard. Uses wizard items too, so can use spells.

Any items that boost rogue skills, start game at Thieve's Den and talk to Silk the drow rogue at the campfire to the Northwest for improved Rogue Gloves, start game as rouge to have thief tools)

Skills: Lore(5), Use magic device(15, for Skin of the Manticore), Appraise(15, with Gloves of Appraisal and Ring of Clarity appraise skill is 20 and you get best prices at stores selling loot and lowest cost buying eventually becoming a zillionare by farming Brandenburg Estate guards in the area directly west of Thieve's den. The secondary skills as Search, Disable Trap and Open Lock to unlock chests for more gold and potions, you will be laying the slaying down in combat so no hide and move silently skills. Instead save skill points to raise Tumble 5 ranks repeatedly for +1 armor class and to evade melee attacks in combat. Sneak damage will be applied when Wicked Union scythe stuns, Exotic Weapon proficiency feat, Power Attack feat and Improved Critical(scythe) are most important. Always activate power attack mode in the quick bar by adding it). At level 18-20 take Cleave feat and Great Cleave fighter feats to prepare for epic Figther levels at level 21 ready to get free one-hit homerun overkill damage weapon master slayings on mobs of enemies.



They'll want to retreat from melee or die but they'll get manticore cloaks galore and die differently. And they will die one day anyway so reap grimly.

Note: When using manticore spikes you won't have to use melee, switch to shield and short sword to increase armor class versus archers and so that the sword is backup weapon to scythe without being too heavy, Fighter/Rogue because there is a venomous short sword. That way you're a Blackguard/Assassin/Weapon Master too. High strength means lugging more loot to sell to merchants, is the most profitable build. Sell what you're not going to use at merchant after you run out of carrying capacity and minimize your carry weight, do not pick up heavy armor or wear heavy armor because the weight to cost ratio isn't as optimal as magic weapons of lower weight so be a weapon master that sells light/medium armor and weapons as well as magic items. Once your Disable Traps and Unlock skills are 8, raise Parry to 8 and Craft Weapon to 8 to use your massive gold stash to modify scythe.

In closing, why Neutral Evil? No penalty against items that affect Lawful/Chaotic, Rouge Helm makes toon immune to Knockdown and poison used by Blackguard, is Evil so it thwarts Blackguard Smite Good, Assassin is another evil prestige class that utilizes poison that won't work. Therefore, Neutral Evil Rogue/Fighter/Weapon Master rules the evil nest as gang leader of an evil party. Think of it as an anti-hero doing whatever the hell he wants as a mercenary, what would Deadpool do?
