that's fucked up. just a little while ago I turned the news on to check the weather and seen a report that a 69 year old man got arrested recently for possession of child porn he's looking at up to 70 years in prison that's the first I've seen that happen in quite a few years but to be fair I stopped watching the news a couple years ago mostly due to all the political bullshit and rich assholes destroying this state.

just another reason I don't trust modern windows os. once I found out about firefox I dumped IE and then later dumped FF for waterfox every time I install windows I disable IE. also using script block is an excellent idea.

To their credit MS is telling people to stop using Windows and finally said all it needs to say.

Edit:// next step is MS paying people to pirate Windows because it has no market share and has to push adware on what people are already paying for in an expensive license somehow like it does on Windows 11. Adware has been considered malware since the Internet existed now Windows is malware itself. MS warns of malicious hackers, that they are paying to create the malicious threats to force people to install Windows 11 adware and most of them are employees.

The suggestion that you must upgrade to Windows 11 when you can disable it with group policy reeks of intentional security flaw knowing full well Internet Exploder should not even be a Windows system application in the first place.
