the only good story elements for contempo is corruption and conspiracy. I had more thoughts on this subject but lost them.
There is much to be said for people still living in a pre-industrial society nowadays being in a jungle more interesting than this urban one. There are interesting stories to tell in RPGs from the perspective of people who still live in tribal or hunter gatherer societies that still believe in magic, their struggle to maintain their way of life and the stewardship of the land or waters that sustain them. Modern people are too relatable to fantasize about and they suck for what they are doing to humans and the planet even if it's by mistake and a consequence of modern shitting's raw sewage production. Right now there is a global manure shortage with over 8 billion assholes shitting; no matter how many human assholes there are there is not enough shit coming out of them to fertilize the food they eat. I'd prefer a civilization that produces enough feces even if more primitive and making more sense than modern nonsense.

Deliberately clunky animations . The minimum requirements are a disaster with those graphics.

I think that's the general idea behind the visuals. There have been similar games released but I can't remember the titles offhand.

My problem with it lies with the inflated requirements for the visuals it delivers. If a game looks poor it should run on lower specs, it doesn't need high resolution particle effects and such to drag up the requirements.

yeah it's bs that a lot of new games have such high requirements when there's really no reason for it.

In 1964 not the emulator but the year, napalm flamethrowers were used by 19 year old 'Muricans. Respect our fats.

I made a tread for the wallpapers, I agree about it not being 80s in the past century but at least it's 80s in the 21st century. I predict people in Miami will go shirtless at the beach and wear only a jacket that can be easily removed if it gets too hot with all that global warming.

EDIT: If the clothing is pastel color it has that 80s Miami GQ aesthetic, but I wanted a whole different look for the future.

Seriously, spambots are posting in the HO? How useless.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

    Greeting from Miami 22nd century.

EDIT: I've gone beyond insane with art, from designing clothes that doesn't exist yet to cars that don't exist yet.
