Dude ported (well its still a WIP) Cave Story to the Genesis/MegaDrive, pretty damn sweet.

Now if he could do it for Sega CD and have the remastered audio that would be insane.
    Wow. Just wow.

    ikr?

I love cavestory and this is one awesome port, wonder if we can get a SNES port too since I freakin love me some SNES.

Anyone happen to know of any open source projects for Genesis and SNES game development tools?

Related: I just took a quest in CoH 2G that ridiculously overpowered the enemies in an earlier area. I have to save after every battle but man, loads of exp, gold and good item drops.

Anyone got a list of all non-DLC maps that can be obtained in Dragon Quest heroes the world tree's woe and the blight below? I know some of them are handed out from story missions, and some are gained from going to grottos and completing time trials for bosses but it'd still be nice to have some kind of list of them so i could figure out which ones i'm missing.

Sadly that list is very very incomplete. I've got more maps than are on that list right now, and i'm only about to finish the story for the first time. I know i'm missing some from some time trials as well, since there is like 3 i haven't attempted and another 3 or 4 i haven't gotten gold times on(silver or bronze wont get you map).

That is adorable, but remarkably cumbersome. Dozens of carts for an emulator?

Its just a optional gimmick to make you think you are using a actual console and carts, it can run like a normal emustation too.

I thought you would think it was neat since you are into that sort of thing

I think its pretty damn cool honestly, guy put in some real effort and its a better machine than that damn $60 job that nintendo is about to put out that only has 30 games.

Compare that dudes work to that $60 piece of crap coming out from nintendo themselves.

NES was great. I still have a NES. Speaking of retro games, does EP have any Marty FM Towns ISOs? I've looked around a bit, but I can't seem to find any on the site.
