Make sure the earlier version still works then
I have a feeling this is an error in your system rather than the actual emulator itself
something that has directly effected your system files maybe...
You try running the latest Direct X update see if it tries to fix it and go for the latest video drivers for your system, if it's a laptop then look for the official drivers page for your laptop otherwise just got for the official site for your chipset/graphics card
Hate to say it though Monkey Ball is a GD-Rom game so the MAME zip file does not work anyway
EDIT http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en is also required
P.S. the game runs full speed i demul for me and both demul and makaron run about the same speed in general the very odd game runs a bit smoother in one or the other
I also did get the game to at least boot to the test screen in Makaron 12/7 but can't get out of the test loop exit test just reboots back into the test screen....
