PSX games are only on CDs, you are trying to run a PSX game correct?

You do know you have more Playstation emulation options?

epsxe is honestly junkware that is surpassed in by PCSX ReARMed and Mednafen.

You want a easy time playing PSX games right?

Because you won't be getting a easy time with epsxe, just non stop configuring and irritation.

First what game and region are you talking about and what files do you have for the game?

To be honest it just sounds like a copy protected game but that is so simple to get past anyway without having to re-download a copy from another region that does not have the protection that is one option other options include patching the disc image either directly or on the fly or using sub channel data (sbi files), the last few options are tiny files and take no time to download even on a 56k modem

Yeah there are other emulators but the whole point of ePSXe are the enhanced graphics that has little to do with ePSXe itself as they are done by external developers, in time there are new plugin PSX emulators on the way that I would hope will over take ePSXe ut for now other PSX emulators only use basic display settings to simulate an olde CRT TV display

If you have a low end system anyway though going for a basic PSX emulator would be the best idea anyway though to get smooth game play as enhanced graphics will cost more system/graphics resources that you may not have if your system specs are on the low side

    install this - https://download.microsoft.com/downl...010_redist.exe

that will fill in your missing directx files.
