And as for Hunger Games, I thought the first movie was total shit. I'm so glad I didn't spend money to see it, and I won't watch the sequel or any of the others that follow. Typical teenie bopper bullshit if you ask me.
I noticed the difference just from watching Cowboy Bebop and that is only from like 1998 or something.

First movie was shit. Won't be seeing any of the others I don't think.

It's not what I would call good by any means, but it's a cheese fest full of extreme violence. If you can find it it's worth a watch as long as you've got a few beers
There's 3 episodes, so make sure to grab them all - although the funny thing is they aren't really connected and almost all feel like they were written and directed by a different person.

I'm guessing you're talking about Hunger Games? Because if you were referring to Cowboy Bebop, you can't watch that movie until you've seen the series, otherwise it makes ZERO sense

Yeah, I used to watch quite a bit of anime. I actually still do, it just comes in small spurts. I'll binge-watch a couple series for a week straight and then not watch any for a month or two. Some recent series I've seen are Attack on Titan, Air Master, Bio-booster Guyver Remake, Magi, Martian Successor Nadesico, and Level E. Also started watching Persona: Trinity Soul, but I didn't end up finishing it/

Golgo is the shit, and so is Crying Freeman..... As for Big Wars, I never EVER mention it because I didn't think anyone has ever seen it.
I love you Bill Moseley Jr.

My brother, I've finally found you...

I had totally forgotten about it until I was looking through a list of Manga Corps releases. I'm actually downloading it right now from baka.bt. It's been so long since I'd last seen it.

Dude, same here - I haven't seen it forever - in fact, the only time I ever saw Big Wars was when I rented it from Netflix back in the infancy of NF. One of the first movies I rented from them. It was a beautiful anime.... the animation was just top notch.
That's another thing for Sheras to take into consideration.... the actual animation on those older movies is so much better than the recent stuff - budgets were bigger and there wasn't any CG help either.

As for Golgo.... god I love Golgo. It has that awful 1983 era CG helicopter scene in it for NO REASON, but the movie itself is just bad ass.
    Queen Bee sucked though. Badly.
However, the NES games were actually good

Just for the record Beelze... I was browsing a list of 80's anime films, and two others showed up that I completely forgot about.... one of them which I can almost guarantee you saw because it was aired during the anime festival and also on the saturday anime block.... Robot Carnival. It was a series of short stories by different directors, with one of the best shorts involving a man who creates a life-like robot to take the place of his spouse and the second a story about a man who falls asleep only to awaken finding himself the only human left in a world over run by robots.

The other movie is kind of similar - Neo Tokyo - several short movies by various anime directors, namely one of them being Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira).

Hm, I went into "Wake up, Girls" expecting some super moe anime or something similar but was surprised by the fact that it faces a lot of problems in the music industry.

    G'morning all.

    Anime discussion time, I see?

Don't have too much to contribute there, I'm afraid. Only one I watched start to finish was Code Geass, really.

Well, that and Sonic X, but that one was atrocious. Oh, and technically, Pokémon, come to think of it.

The Woody Woodpecker Show was the best anime ever created. It had Chilly Willy the penguin. He was frozen through and through. His head was hot and his tail was cold, ah-, ah-, ACHOO!

    He was badass.

It was only 35c today and it's still hot outside @ 11.30pm
Tomorrow it will be above 40c.

There have been some fires already. Fast ones too.

    Spoiler warning:
