He's also bypassing the possibility that the english title actually has some meaning that hasn't simply come up yet. Writers like to do that sometimes.

And a large part of his reasoning for "eotena" over "titans" was that eotena in mythology were brainless monsters, whereas titans were intelligent. I'm sure he liked some of the revelations as the manga went on that... uh... completely contradicted that.

BUT BEOWULF GUYS. I'M SO LEARNED AND DEEP!

I'll like it when it turns out that most of the giant human thingies are actually controlled by the T.I.T.A.N. supercomputer via some sort of nano-organic hivemind which humans lead a last-ditch effort to destroy as their last bastion is enjoying some crumbling walls. Leading the series to end with one massive attack on T.I.T.A.N.

Maybe he'll just photoshop each frame where the T.I.T.A.N. insignia shows up so that he can continue to pretend this was a good idea.

Or the whole thing turns out to be set on a terraformed Titan.

In the event they go the Life on Mars route.

In fact, Titans' Onslaught, Giants' Onslaught, Onslaught of the Titans, Onslaught of the Giants all sound better in my head. Rolls of the tongue easier, too.

Monado: Beginning of the World. Good thing they changed that because it kinda spoils the ending.

Eh, as long as they didn't change the title to Monado: Babylon 5 it's all good.

Oh right...I tend to avoid US versions of euro shows.

In a related story, I keep accidentally clicking on Tass' Breaking Bad thread.

And then I realize what I just did and I'm all NOPE! and close my eyes whilst clicking wildly to get out of there.

    I hate being behind.

This just seems like needless bickering over something, something the internet is brilliant at doing. I'm going to keep calling it Attack on Titan, like I always have.
