And a large part of his reasoning for "eotena" over "titans" was that eotena in mythology were brainless monsters, whereas titans were intelligent. I'm sure he liked some of the revelations as the manga went on that... uh... completely contradicted that.

I'll like it when it turns out that most of the giant human thingies are actually controlled by the T.I.T.A.N. supercomputer via some sort of nano-organic hivemind which humans lead a last-ditch effort to destroy as their last bastion is enjoying some crumbling walls.
