To clarify, it just seemed like the story was basically, okay now the main dude can transform into a titan, so they're gonna do 6134635 battles and beat them like that, some characters may or may not die for shock value just didn't seem very interesting to me. Generic "main hero has unique superpower" thing you see everywhere.

This saddens me. I only saw the first few episodes and I've been saving up all the others to binge watch at some point.
