There's a lot of things wrong in your post, but this blind statement always pisses me off. The NES SNES N64 and Gamecube were all exceptionally powerful systems (the assertions that the N64 and Cube were weak or failures are ridiculous). Then Nintendo made the Wii and was clearly the knockout winner of the generation. Yeah we didn't like its specs and casual features, but they made fucktons of money with it! Of fucking course they copied the business model for their next entry.
