Sam & Fuzzy was one of the comics that got me addicted to webcomics "back in the day." The storylines are amazing, and have the perfect blend of over-the-top "zany antics," odd-ball antagonists, and a deep-seeded emotional drive to "find one's place." If you enjoy serial webcomics, it's one of the best around. Also, Sam Logan is Canadian and attended UVic at the same time a few of my buddies were there, which I just think is cool and worthy of a $100+ of my hard-earned dollars.
I just noticed Spaced Out one while I was digging around Kickstarter bored, and the artwork struck me as something that I would enjoy, so I started reading up on it. It basically sounds like Three Stooges meets Wall-E, with a cartoon-y and accessible art style that I think Dallas would enjoy reading with me. The pledge level for a physical book was low enough that I figured I'd take a gamble on it.
Jackie Rose looks like Teenage Female Uncharted With Nerdy Love Interest Background Story. The first 30 odd pages are up in a webcomic right now, and the overall story sounded interesting. My problem is that I like to back these things at a pledge level that gets me somethng unique if it gets funded. I pledged to Sam & Fuzzy to get a limited edition hardcover, personalized dedication, fully inked drawing of a character of my choice on the inside cover of Vol. 1, and a Kickstarter-exclusive print & buttons. All of those things sound bad-ass. Spaced Out, I pledged for a signed copy and exclusive wall art print. For Jackie Rose, to get anything that I would consider really cool (such as the art print), I'd have to pledge $50 + shipping, which is a bit steep. Hence my hesitation.
I bought a new kitchen table and chairs today, as well as a couple of things to decorate my apartment with, so I've been haemorrhaging money these last couple of days. I haven't been finding as many great deals for NES games as I was at the beginning of the year, unfortunately.

Although I'm up to 263 according to my last count, plus a couple more coming in. Around 225 boxed/complete, the rest loose. I had the count of boxed/complete in my head, but lost it a second ago. It's somewhere around 223-226.
