Yeah that's definitely a bigger factor for you. I wanted an older model so I couldn't get one new.

I don't really care what model I get, as long as I don't make the mistake of buying a WiiMini. Even I think they're ugly, and I have horrible taste in aesthetics.

Though I prefer to play on real hardware when possible, some consoles never made way into my country (such as N64) and some are extremely rare (like Saturn), so if not for emulation I would miss out on a lot of games.

There's also the portable factor. PS1 games on my phone? Yes please.

I don't blame people in third world countries at all.

If I recall, that's the reason MasJ started this site, and is a totally legit reason to emulate.
