I like awesome badass enemies, the Borg were kinda lame I thought.

Yeah, TOS is corny but I'm a big fan of old sci-fi (which is mostly cheesy anyway) and the "limitations" don't make it difficult for me to watch.
In fact the original show (without the recent enhancements) had pretty good effects for television back then.
Shatner and Nimoy really make the show worth watching.

It's difficult for me to choose between Voyager and DS9.
I guess I can put up with a female captain more easily than Sisko, his kid and all that rubbish about the wormhole aliens.
And Voyager has a sexy Borg.
Although any DS9 ep's involving Klingons are cool.
    Very sexy Borg.

Also, being outside of the English language world and being able to speak and listen to a foreign language for hours upon hours every day is awesome. So there's that.
Yeah I guess it's a pretty small country so it would be hard to get away from stuff. Glad you're happy.

    Greek philosophy in Japanese? zomg

Replacing the dialogue took far less time than I thought it would, I thought it'd take at least three hours...
Neat. I haven't played Cave Story (yet), I'll put it in my "to play" list.

It isn't so difficult. If you learn the jargon, and the names of philosophers in Japanese (which tend to be drawn from their original Greek names rather than the English equivalents), it's quite easy to follow.

...well, except one lecture we were given on Pythagoras, and philosophers who saw the universe in terms of numbers. Fairly advanced mathematics in Japanese? No thank you.

Well, yes. So, essentially, I alternate between sounding in pain and doped out of my mind. At least I didn't take the ibuprofen the dentist gave me today. I'd have been asleep at my desk if I did. Strong bloody stuff...

Could you please tell me what you hear at 1:45 here, starting with いくら考えても...?

Also, do you know any idioms that go something like 地の底から etc.? It's 0:24 in the video and I'm wondering if it has a special meaning or something... Normally I'd expect a line like this to be 心の底から憎む, after all.

    Thankies. ^___^

Full of wonders,,, shit I can't remember and terrors to freeze the soul? Something. I like in I think the same episode just before he says that is "If you can't take a little bloody nose then why are you out here?" Come to think of it that's exactly before he says the wonders part.
