    Have you played XIII-2, Lash?
True, but at least I do so for comic effect.

And yes, I have. I found it better than XIII in a vast number of respects (more open world, somewhat less pants-on-head-retarded battle system, tossing the obtuse weapon upgrade system, and so on), although the story definitely had issues here and there. Still, I found it reasonably enjoyable.

Then came the ending. Which bloody well ruined the entire thing for me. I was unbelievably pissed off at that.

    Spoiler warning:
"And suddenly, the world becomes covered in darkn- THE END"

Yeah. Fuck you too Square Enix.

Oh I will, believe you me. I'd just like it to be known that when I completely hate on something to the point of ludicrousness, I'm usually a fair bit more mild-mannered about it. Mostly, I'm kidding. Yes, I think it's a shit game. No, I don't think it's actually the direct cause of three genocides and fifteen murder sprees.

    Perhaps.

Oh, and for reference, I can actually argue why I dislike the game rationally, but if I would, you'd be stuck reading an essay.

Conciseness was never my strong suit.

Well I haven't played it yet, so let's keep that for when I do. -If I happen to disagree-

Fair enough. Send me a message if/when you do so, I'm always curious to see what others think about it. I might not always agree, but that doesn't disqualify the validity of your argument, after all.

Unless you try to argue that Sonic 2006 was, in the undying words of Gunslinger Boy, "An underappreciated gem." In which case your opinion is provably false.

Never thought I'd see that name mentioned here again, I thought the admins banned the mentioning of the name.
    ...
Guess I should reread the forum rules again.

... I don't see what's not normal about doing that. But that's probably only me who sees it that way.

    EDIT:
I didn't know ancient threads got unlocked...

Are threads that are inactive for several months no longer automatically locked or something?

Eh, I think I can get away with a throwaway mention. I won't belabour the point, don't worry. It was just a statement that... stuck with me. If you'd made it, I'd have said the same. (No offense, of coruse)

Let's make a rule that if you refer to any person, you get banned.

    GO!

Just wanted to know what you thought about it. I should really have to start it someday

    Good idea!

We'll call it the Jazz rule(s). That way, if someone mentions the rule we get someone banned

You just quoted someone, person I shan't further reference. Bye.

Oh, and Cookie - as mentioned, XIII-2 is pretty good, but be prepared for a shit ending.

    Enjoy yourself though.

Knowing that there's yet another sequel planned, I don't really expect too much about the ending... :/
