I read somewhere that the issue here is that emulating a system requires a lot more processing power than the system itself uses. so, even though your specs seem like they ought to blow the gamecube into outer space, the emulation still lags. there is a youtube video I watched where a seemingly computer-savvy child taught me how to configure my Dolphin emulator for optimum performance, and it did increase my fps by about 125-150%, depending on what was happening on the screen, that still only got me to about 50% fps, and the fact that it speeds up and slows down depending on how much it has to render is still one of the more aggravating issues. im wondering if anyone has made versions of the Zelda games that decompile directly to windows, but im a bit cautious about downloading exe files anyway (you should've seen all the filth that was included in a MS DOS games torrent that I downloaded).
its not a problem it was something i was wondering as i have a low quality laptop. and yeah, to emulate something your computer needs to be alot powerful than the thing its emulating, which is why we only now have a working ps2 emulator and we still dont have a ps3 emulator yet. and when your dealing with games, stay away from torrents or that will happen, and as far as i know, there arnt any zelda games developed for the pc.
