I'm pretty much the same. Except I have Japanese as well, which is something that kind of NEVER ENDS. The moment I start playing games I get this really uncomfortable feeling that I'm wasting precious time that could be used to learn kanji, so I just shut it off and go back to my books.
SIGH.![]()
Got vinegar in my eye last night. I was worried for while there until the vision returned. I have touched stove elements that burned less.![]()
I've actually hardly spoken English at all for the last three months. :'D Most of my friends here are either Japanese or people from other countries in Asia with whom my only common language is Japanese. I have maybe two British friends and one American one who I see from time to time and speak English to. But that's about it.
My speaking has improved sooooo much because of that, though. If this continues, I'm pretty sure I'll be conversationally fluent by the time I go home. Definitely come here if you want to improve your Japanese and get the chance!
...of course the negative side to that is that my English is falling apart. I swear bad English is a sickness, and the longer I live here, the more I catch it. I don't even notice stupid Engrish stuff in stores anymore. Heck I'm wearing a shirt right now that says "HAPPINESS LOVE: ONE'S IDEAS AND PRIORITIES" on it. ._.
