Couple that with the fact that Direct Damage Magic is almost always weaker than just bashing an opponent in the face, I do agree with you there for FF8.
But then, I dislike FF8 for having a poorly thought-out abortion of a storyline, so I'm not too fussed about magic being too weak in it.

Yeah this one isn't exactly high on my list but I wanna beat it once. I'd like to be able to say I've completed 1-12. And fuck 13 because it's 13.
Physical is so much quicker, got my str at 255 for my 3 main guys so it's easy as fuck at this point. Just entering the Lunatic Pandora now.

Not that much, I'm just astounded at how early you get up. Makes sense given the context, of course. I just don't think I'll ever be that early a riser WILLINGLY.
