If you're ever worried about what is going into your food, educate yourself about it. If you're worried about what antibiotics/hormones are being fed to the animals that you eat, purchase locally whenever you can. If you are still concerned after seeing the local animals, find out as much as you can about the farms themselves. Most local farms raise their animals without the use of hormones or antibiotics, and most local butcher's shops don't have the capacity to heavily process their products.
Pretty much what I was raised on. Nomnomnom.
Which reminds me. I still have some deer sausage in my fridge.
