Does that make any sense?

I just want to feel like I belong to a community instead of feeling like the accused in a court trial.
It does make sense, and it is one of the reasons that I decided to respond to all of these posts. While not everyone who joins the forums contributes in the sense of content of aid to other members, you all contribute in some form or another (even if it's only for others to point and laugh ). I guess I've also kicked into dad mode right now and feel like defusing situations before things get out of hand, and last time this all happened (chat incident), I snapped at a regular when I really shouldn't have. I'm attempting to learn from that mistake, even if I have no formal power anymore.

just to let you know members that share my opinions on you are the reason you are still in the rankings that ray posted the other day you will always be my favorite mod(even though you aren't one anymore.) cause you take the time to explain things and be more personable than most "other" staff members.
I'm too nice for my own good. I've been backreading everything instead of playing games because for some reason I felt like intervening and explaining, possibly to avoid the same backlash as what happened with the chat thing.

And when your a new member. Your first few posts in the hangout are the worst.
It happens. There are a lot of people who post in the regular forums (not just HO, but everywhere) that I generally am not interested in talking to, either through uncommon interests or a dislike of personality or both. In the end, I'm a wall of text being generated by someone on the other side of the world for a lot of you, and at the very least the other side of the continent for most, so I really don't expect anyone to take what I say seriously on a regular basis.

Yadda yadda yadda, we never really migrated out since.
Retro has always been hit or miss. When I first gained access (God, was that back in '03...?!), it was a fairly dead forum with only a couple of posts a day. Then there would be days without posts. Then random surges of activity when someone tried to revive it, then nothing.

I really wish I had been here for Chen, though.
