We're too entitled ad nauseum ad infinitum. I'm of the belief that the entire business model is at fault. Long-term, it's yet another cynical attempt to divorce us from the concept of ownership. $0.99 apps on Android/iPhone are one thing but $60-80 a pop is something else entirely if you're not able to recycle that investment to help finance new game purchases.

If it's going to happen, I think all 3 console vendors will need to get on board in order for it to work.

My current understanding of these said rumours is that it won't be "anti-used games". Rather, a purchasable unlock code could be required for any game bought second-hand (e.g. $5). I can understand their point of view seeing how game stores like GS make a killing on pre-owned games without a single cent going back to the publisher/developer.
