    I'm still rocking the search for lands right now. Too many darn cards to select from. Creatures are pretty much set, but those lands are like, radical, yo.

    Command Tower, Reliquary Tower. Pretty much required.

    If you need help with the names of the right duals and fetches I mostly remember them all.

    Yeah I don't think I had much to do after, would have activated volrath in response to put monger on top, goyf comes out 2 turns later, he would have been huuuuuge, but I decided to scoopface rather than play it out.

    My deck was basically made with lulz in mind. Decking myself and Barren Glory are the only real win cons.

    The one I used in the first game is probably better, since it dicks around with ridiculous things like Worldgorger.

    No way, you lost to a Vindicate. I wouldn't call that "better", at least the second one was doing stuff.

    I'm working on a fun deck that actually plays creatures. Which yeah, is new for me lately.

    Thanks for the help. So far I've added 15 forests and plains, then I need to whittle down 32 non-basic lands to fit what I really need. Isn't the standard for Ocmmander to have around 40 lands? Just making sure since an extra 40 cards can mix up the standard 1:2 ratio of lands vs actual cards.

    Yeah that's about right, 36 - 40 lands, with anywhere from 0 - 15 point of accel/color fixing.

    This deck will be fine for 1v1 as well spiders.

    One last question and I think I'm done. Gaddock Teeg's ability reads that non creature spells with converted mana of 4 or more can't be played. When using buyback, it reads to pay an additional cost. Do you add that cost to the combined converted mana cost when playing that spell? I wouldn't think so, but I must make sure before I screw myself over in a game. I've never used him before and the legal ruling doesn't mention that.

    Well...time to add Arashi and global haste enchantments to that deck.

    @nemo: Iirc Kicker adds to CMC and Buyback doesn't. I could be wrong though.

    Neither of those change the converted mana cost of a card. They are just additional costs, so you could do both of them. So I could play a spell that has cmc of 2, then flash it back for 8 later.

    Gaddock Teeg only cares about the numbers in the righthand corner.
