The world is a dangerous place....it's safer to use exercise equipment.
Apparently a car exploded near Inferno's place recently

Yeah. I had a close family member with type 1 diabetes so I know what you're dealing with and how important it is to watch what you eat. I don't have the best diet but I do try to take better care of myself and eat a little healthier as I grow older.

My Grandad is diabetic. The type where you don't have to inject yourself.

But he's all "I can eat 6 Mars Bars and my blood sugar level doesn't change." So he just eats what he likes.

Considering how insane many diets are, I'm surprised we aren't seeing diets involving amputation or getting cancer/HIV.

Some people will do anything to knock off those points. And for the low, low price of 49.99 I will give you AIDs. The deluxe 199.99 plan comes with a 12 month supply of low sucrose, non fructose, high carb, gluten free medication.

Do you call him stumpy? Is he as blind as a bad? Does he have chronic leg pain?

I remember you speaking of that before. Sucky disease is sucky...

Last week I had to go to my bi-yearly checkup at the hospital. The nurse told me that my values are so good that it looks like I'm not sick at all. And that if I keep this up I will live as long as any other person. That made me smile. Seriously. I'm slightly on the heavy side though (97kg, 184cm length) and I really want to lose at least 10 kg. So I've started to count calories (roughly), eat less carbohydrates and less food overall. Feels great actually and I'm really optimistic.

Poor eyesight, deaf in one ear, chronic pains in his left knee.

    Doesn't stop him from driving.

And he smokes like a hundred a day.

That's type-2. AKA the fatty type of diabetes. It's the one that's increasingly more common in just about every industrialized country in the world.

I'm so glad that when I passed out and then had my blood tested it turned out I didn't have that. That's what everyone thought might have been the cause to the passing out. But thankfully enough, it was just lack of sleep.

It could've been Type-2 Onset Diarrhea.

I had like 3 hours sleep, the room I was in was way too hot and I wasn't eating properly at all. It all took its toll on me and I passed out.

I'm glad it happened though as it was the kick up the arse I needed to get myself into gear, to start sleeping properly, to start eating properly again and to stop letting a certain someone bother me, still.
