Did last minute shopping. Which is funny because I handled my shopping months ago. My stepfather, always leaving shit for the last possible second

Then I proceeded to help my sister bake a series of overly complicated cookies for the nephew.

Fortunately they were delicious enough to eliminate most of the unpleasantness.

Then I attempted to assist my mother's last minute shopping for me. Am I the only sane person on earth? The date doesn't change. It's not like the pope suddenly declared that it's christmas in a week. Last I checked every calendar says the 25th of December. Which means 10th month, but apparently people are shit at math.

Where was I going with this? I have no idea.

Just received an email confirming the reservation at the original price of £22.49. I'm guessing the deal expired this evening but the fact I reserved it beforehand means it should go through OK.

Put it this way: assuming the price advertised a) wasn't a mistake (which it wasn't) and b) provides incentive to buy (as in you wouldn't have been interested had it been advertised for full price) they're in very murky water if they refuse to honour it.
