I set aside $300 for this venture, and after the PS3, there will be close to $200 remaining for games. Most of the pawn shops sell PS3 games for $10, give or take. Neither of us has any real knowledge when it comes to this systems' library, the most recent games we have been playing are for the DS and PS2. All of our PS2 games will play nicely on the PS3, yes?
I favor Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Castlevania, platformers, and Zelda-esque games. I also had a love affair with horror-type FPSs like Doom and Killing Time. My wife is into the puzzle-types, but also is obsessed with God of War, Mario, Golden Sun, and Kingdom Heart.

The selection around here is vast; more than 20 new/used retailers and shops within a few miles.

Which games am I picking up?

Thanks in advance......

If you liked Resident Evil 4, give 5 a try, not as good but still very recommended.
There's Silent Hill Homecoming, which I still haven't played and Silent Hill Downpour is coming out soon.
Castlevania Lords of Shadow is another great game, it's not the classic Castlevania game what you are going to find but a God of War kind of game. The same could be said of Dante's Inferno, another interesting one if you like that kind of beat 'em up/adventure games. Then there's God of War III too.
The best Zelda clone is Darksiders, very enjoyable adventure game. The Assassin's Creed series are really good too, more adventure games to consider.

And some of my personal favourites are the Uncharted and inFamous series and Heavy Rain, look for info on this one cos it's a game quite different to the rest.
