Hah, my chipped PSX works perfectly. I have disks that look like they were put through a blender, and were burned onto the crappiest CD's ever, and they still work perfectly.

It's a pretty good game, I never finished it myself. Although that doesn't mean anything, as I rarely finish games I start anyway.I went with Inferno's recommendation and bought Metro 2033.
