I'm sure a bit of practice will help. By no means did I complete a no-death run of Demon's Souls.Ah. Yeah, I just have this awkward issue where I keep backing into corners whenever I use it, at which point I get hacked to death. Since I can't really shoot from the hip, that makes spells rather situational for me. Pity, though; Fire Shot is really effective whenever I can pull it off. Well, keep practicing, and I'm sure I get it.
It's been ages since I've played, and I'm not usually the type of person who elects to play as a magic wielding class, but from what I remember magic is oh so amazing. And any time some one brings up DS, I end up gushing about it.
I really should give that a few more plays.

I'll probably never get around to grinding all the stones for upgrades, but a couple more playthroughs to get all the spells, miracles and rings, couldn't hurt. I even made an Excel sheet to keep track of everything the last time I was playing.Platinum?
