Yeah. So much planning went into getting everything set up (had everything set up with my dad to come out to help me out for the couple of days, bought groceries with the intent of not being able to cook anything, so lots of microwave meals, etc). Once they canceled it, I had to call my dad and cancel everything (he had booked a ferry reservation, which is non-refundable), and manage to get myself on the schedule for work. And now it's rescheduled for the same week as my son's birthday, so I had to move my party for him to the weekend right before my surgery, instead of the one after his birthday (I wasn't going to have him on his actual birthday anyways).

I was a little bit choked, especially since I've been waiting three months or so for this appointment. But at least it's only been moved by two weeks. I would have raged if they had made me wait another three months.

One of the girls that works there used to date my best friend's younger brother, and I used to boot for them when I became of age. I was hanging out there during Canada Day Long Weekend and made the comment that I had nothing to do for the weekend, 'cause no friends lol. So she invited me out with herself, her friend Lanna and their friend Luke.

I now have friends. And free Slurpees.

I am happy.

Yeah. I used the local E-Z mart once. We have no 7-11 in town....Did I say that out loud?
Funny how the week after, they installed locks on the bathrooms and now you need ask for the key.
