Don't worry, the RPG doesn't play like the wargame at all.
Also, that's why we're gonna do character gen as a group: The only people who actually know the rules are me and Hypnos. Charactergen isn't hard, but doing as a group means we can fix any mistakes and misunderstandings on that front before the game actually starts. And we're keeping about as simple as possible.
Also, this is the first time I'm running 40K myself, so mistakes likely will be made anyway. We'll just power through like bosses.
