    You're a horrible person. It's like I don't even know you anymore.
I once played Gears of War online at my cousins' house with a headset. Not only did I get to hear the 13 y/os swearing and acting tough, I got to hear what happens when they hear a female voice.

I'm sorry. The partner I had yesterday was wonderful. It actually felt like co-op. Today I had some random Canadian, who insisted on running to the other side of the screen to do crazy things, sometimes causing me to get stuck behind barriers and die because I couldn't move outside of the stupid green oval between us. Other times he'd light a huge pack of zombies on fire whilst I was in the middle of it, or blow me up with a rocket launcher.

Then he'd have the nerve to wiggle his stupid flashlight by the health pack, as if I couldn't already see the bright glowing, green light already.

After about the millionth time we both died, I had to save my sanity.

Harder doesnt mean better, its just a case of, once you beat a game its dont, other then collecting shit to get nerd points, theres no real reason to go back, unless its a REALLY good game.
Harder tends to mean you're willing to work for it, You have to keep going back till you find the right magic.

Im not saying games should all be retardly hard, I'm just saying the distinct feeling of generalization in that every single person that buys this game has had a lobotomy isnt needed.
Its good that they are making games for the kiddies to pick up, or people with handicaps, but when a game is rated MA15+ and has that feeling that the health system is made to help said people with lobotomy's then, why bother?

People need to be re-trained, any game *COUGH ME2/GoW* where i can charge head on into a mob of bad guys, get fucked up, then run off like a giggling school girl running towards the back of a bike shed to give a hand job to her BF, to regain ALL MY FUCKING HEALTH, only to run out and charge again, is just plain retarded.

A simple fix to this would be: Regain only heals X amount, based on current damage in, say you take 100 damage, you can only regain 75%, this would scale with difficulty, the wasted 25% would be considered "limb damage" and have to be fixed with a health pack, this giving you the option to regain, but also saving your health packs for when they are needed.

Now i get that games are WONDERFUL stories now days, and coupled with the fact that every game and its dog has to be a fucking sand box, and the ones that arent are those WONDERFUL STORIES! so it would be kind of hard to have to restart the level, but atleast slap us on the wrist for fuck sake, "NO you cant run in and do that like a retarded chimp, use that thing called a BRAIN"

And thats how Jase saved the video game industry.

Well, yeah. Skinner posted a site a while ago about people harassing others with death threats over Xbox Live, now that's some genuinely funny/creepy stuff.

It's only creepy if they sound like they can back it up .

More games need shadows like NWN2. I can stick the camera super close and they don't look like crap.

I play video games for enjoyment. If I want to be frustrated all the time, I'll just never take a day off from work.
    Read below.

I play them for the enjoyment, i just dont enjoy being treated special.
I played WoW non stop, when it was good, but gave it up when every retard and their dog was put on the same level as I, there needs to be a tier structure to gaming, plain and simple.
IE: Nerd points, but even that is a joke..... i got like 5 for just following the story line in ME2, OH GRATZ YOU COMPLETED A MISSION, HERE HAVE SOME POINTS!, HERE HAVE SOME MORE FOR HAVING THE ABILITY TO TURN ON THE CONTROLLERRRRRR.

I need to find the option to run KOTOR in a window so I can be a boss and play the game whilst posting on EP.

I was hinting at it, then I realized that I was using revision 3500something.
Everything runs much, much, better with the newer revision. Sonic Adventure 2 still runs a little slow without frameskipping.

Is there any difference in requirements for Wii games?

    I'm sure hilarity ensued.

Either that, or lots and lots of awkwardness. Ah, puberty.

It's okay, you're forgiven. I personally only do co-op with my brother, I don't really bother to look for online partners. It's really so much more fun when you can partner with someone who's on the same wavelength as you. Hell, even RE5 stopped being totally bland and boring!

My bro has a 360. I played it while he still lived here. And, because we have no router, no Xbawks Live.
All I ever played on it was Guilty Gear 2 and Lost Odyssey, and some rentals.

This sort of happens in Dead Nation.

And I like to save my health packs so I can run back for them if I need them. But this last co-op partner insisted on stomping them all for monies.
