If you miss the lack of a lives system, then give yourself three chances. If you die once or twice, continue from the checkpoint. If you die three times, just hit reset, delete your auto-save, and restart the game.

Sonic takes what, an hour or two to beat if you don't die? It's different if there's hardly any gameplay to be extended in the first place. Let's try the lives system on ME2. Died during the last fight? Redo that 20 hours of work. Maybe implement an obnoxious password system.
    Duh.

    I played Dead Nation.

Got all the way to the last mission on morbid last night and went to bed when the sun was coming up.

Just played it for a couple more hours and still didn't beat it.

    Checkpoints, health packs, and all.

I did, its true in a sense, but still theres to much babying in games now days.
I think the Megaman games did it best with that whole password system, but theres no need to candy coat everything just for the sake of some retards having a hard time playing a game on normal mode.

Heres and idea, how about they make easy mode the new normal mode, and easy mode, just fucking retardly easy, and say make hard mode a mode with lives and the distinct smell of failure when you fucking suck.

Both? I've never been one to care about gameplay, something about those really pisses me off.

    Nobody really cares, you know.

Maybe if you learned how to write anything worth reading, you'd be something more than a collection of annoying posts littered throughout our conversations.

I like the 1st ones gameplay better.
Square tried to copy Capcom's Tank Controls. With some tweaks.
Should've just sticked to the control system the first one had.

I'm not saying that I've never complained about something being dumbed down or just so easy it's no longer entertaining, but I don't miss lives, and I don't miss having to redo hours of work to make up for one little mistake at the wrong moment.

I play video games for enjoyment. If I want to be frustrated all the time, I'll just never take a day off from work.

    Yes, please.

And fewer insta-kill monsters on the screen.

Go to Youtube -> watch random video of Call of Duty online multiplayer -> listen to 13-year-olds swearing and acting tough -> infinite fun times.

Btw, Shard, how's GC/Wii emulation coming along? I saw what you wrote on my profile but wasn't sure if you were expecting an answer or anything.
