I just read it, what you did was... Heroic.

You took on the task of attempting to dry pants in a brave, new, and unconventional way.

You made the mistake so others wouldn't have to. My real question is though, were the pants dry before you doused them? Because if so, your experiment was not a failure, you just got complacent. It's a common mistake.
