So much love~
Also on the topic of Red:
It did get harder. They started amping up the puzzles shortly after I continued in. A couple were pretty basic "arrange things using a series of rules" puzzles (IE: X cannot be touching Y. Z must be in the middle. A goes on top of W) and some simple logic puzzles "using a 3 liter and a 5 liter container, fill a container with exactly 4 liters of water". Several of them came off as general "find the one spot you're supposed to click" deals. Basically stuff seen in a lot of these things. There was one fairly interesting sudoku-esque puzzle (which sucks because apparently I broke the game with that puzzle. My solution gave the incorrect answers even though the game acknowledged it as correct. Sadder still, it took me ages to work out that solution.) And the final puzzle session is like some sort of super condensed Phoenix Wright courtroom session where you have to put together everything you've seen up to that point, work through the BS that's been floated your way, and finger the killer(s). I just wish some of the True/False sections were a little more intuitive. In one instance you have to accuse someone of something they clearly didn't do just so you can move forward. This works completely counter to the way these worked for the rest of the game. Also, somewhat annoying that you have to drag your evidence back to your office to inspect it every time. Which sometimes leads to finding something, going back to look at it, and then returning to the area to ask questions. Streamlining: this game could use some.
They threw some pretty nice twists to the whole storyline and it worked out pretty well.
Also, DAT ENDING. Holy shit.
