Well, like Shinji. Everyone hates Shinji's characterization, but I loved it, because he actually felt, well, natural.

He wasn't some dude who thought he was in the coolest situation ever like every other shounen protagonist ever, he didn't want to do what he did, he just did it because he REALLY HAD NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER.

It in fact always bothered me that the fanbase always felt the need to bitch constantly about how he's not that cool, super robot protagonist we always see. But the entire point of his character is that he isn't cool. And it was like that for all of them. They were more interesting to me that way.

Yeah, apparently they added 64-bit support in a patch. I was going to try running then getting it to autopatch by connecting to the servers (if they still exist), but there wasn't a registry key for OS requirements, so I went ahead and patched.
