    That's it though.

I actually get really good speeds in PCSX2 and Dolphin, more often than not it runs at full speed. But there's always that game or two that gives me slowdowns.

Well, okay, it's probably more than a game or two, but you get what I mean.

It may be time to invest in that i7 rig you've always wanted for emulation? That's going to cost you about the price of 1000 used PS2s/Wiis.

I don't really like water, but I'll drink it ice cold if there's nothing else.

I don't get people who'd upgrade only for emulation. I upgraded a few years ago because it was long overdue and I play games on PC. My PC just happened to be powerful enough for emulation, it's not like that was the original goal.

My uncle already wants to upgrade the PC I built him about 9 months ago.

    i5 dual core, 4GB DDR3 RAM, Sapphire 1GB 5770.

All because he downgraded back to Windows XP x86 because Windows 7 x64 is "shit" So his games are now bottlenecked by DX9/3.5GB total memory.

Are we talking about proper water, or shitty tap water, though? Because tap water can be somewhat meh. Ice cold mineral water, whether it's carbonated or not, is good shit.
